University outreach service

Our university outreach service provides support to students with Asperger syndrome throughout the academic year. Staff are flexible but provide support in these key areas:

  • study skills support
  • social skills development
  • independent living skills
  • liaison with tutors and lecturers
  • planning and problem solving.

Our staff work with universities to raise awareness of Asperger syndrome and the autism spectrum, and the challenges that people on the spectrum can face in higher education. The support we provide is both person-centred and discreet.
