Telephone helplines
 Image indicating telephone-based service Autism Helpline: general information service for all those affected by autism spectrum disorders in the UK. Parent to Parent Line: volunteer-run telephone support for parents by parents. Advocacy for Education is volunteer-run: Education Advice Line offers advice and information on special educational needs; the Tribunal Support Scheme is for parents wishing to challenge decisions.

The Autism Alert card
Developed in consultation with adults with autism and parents, our Autism Alert card can be carried by a person with autism and used in situations where they may find communication difficult. Translations of the text inside the card are available in a number of languages.

 The more members we have, the stronger our voice will be. Our membership package is designed to give you ongoing information and support, and includes our quarterly membership magazine, among other benefits.

Information and research services
 We offer a range of information services for people with ASDs, families and professionals. These include our UK-wide Autism Services Directory, professional research tools and an online shop selling books, leaflets, videos, DVDs and CD-ROMs.
