The National Autistic Society (NAS) Autism Helpline provides impartial, confidential information, advice and support for people with autism spectrum disorders, their families, professionals, researchers and students.
- All calls charged at local rate and will cost no more than 4p per minute from BT landlines. Calls from mobile phones may cost more.
- Offers an interpreting service in over 120 different languages to callers using landline telephones in the UK.

| Autism Helpline: service for people with ASDs and their families |
The Autism Helpline provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support to people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. Helpline advisers are able to talk about the range of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and related issues in depth. |
| Community Care Service |
Our community care case worker offers advice and information about community care issues, including finding out what help you can get from your local social services department. |
| Welfare rights service |
Our Autism Helpline operates a welfare rights service, providing advice and support in all aspects of social security benefit entitlement (includes advice on entitlements, help with completing claim forms and what to do if you think a decision is wrong). |
| Helpline email service |
[Reply given] Our online advice and information service for parents, people with autism and Asperger syndrome, professionals working with or for people with autism and/or their families, researchers, etc. We aim to give a response within ten working days. |
| Information on financial issues from the Autism Helpline |
The NAS has been working with the Financial Services Authority and our Helpline team has received training on financial issues. call us if you have a question about money matters such as paying bills, opening bank accounts, managing debt, and saving or borrowing money. |
