An RSS feed is a stream of information that automatically tells you when new articles have been posted on a website, or when existing information has been updated.
RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' and is usually represented by the orange RSS logo shown opposite. By reading the RSS feeds on our update pages, you can keep up-to-date with the most recent changes that have been made to the content of our website.
You can also subscribe to an RSS feed so that you will receive updates on your computer without having to keep checking our website. To subscribe, you will need to have a piece of software called a news reader. A news reader will automatically check the RSS feeds that you subscribe to and let you read them.
Some news readers are browser-based, which means you can access them through a browser, such as Internet Explorer, from any computer. Other news readers are downloadable applications that let you store RSS feeds on your own computer. This is similar to the difference between accessing a Hotmail email account through a browser and having your emails downloaded to an email application, such as Outlook.
Follow these instructions to subscribe to one of our RSS feeds.
1. Go to the update page you would like to subscribe to.
2. Press your left mouse button over the RSS feed symbol near the top of the update page.
3. You will be taken to a new screen (see below) which features a link called 'Subscribe to this feed'. Press your left mouse button over this link.

5. If your computer does not have a news reader, you will first need to install a news reader on your computer.
